WWPT Siroki Brigej (Bosnia-Herzegovina)
“Committed to your wellbeing, we treat the most valuable resource in the Planet”
Azierta has played a key role in the construction, supply and installation of the greatest hydraulic projects in the Balkans over the last few decades.
The works executed by Azierta at the water treatment project of the municipality of Siroki Brigej with a population of 30,000 consisted in the construction of sewer, a spillway, the WWPT, and the piping of the treated waters, thus mitigating the effected of untreated sewage on the environment.
The water treatment plant was designed to operate using a double-stage, biological process of active sludge, which has the following advantages:
- Low energy consumption.
